1年くらい前、息子がまだ将棋を指していた頃の話。

棋力の離れた相手とばかり指している息子にネット将棋を指させてみた。
ネットならば同じ初心者がたくさんいる。
15級で登録し、同じ15級の相手を探して対局を申し込んだ。

「よろしくおねがいします」

しかし蓋を開けてみると相手はどう見ても15級ではない。
駒を取られてばかりでちっとも楽しくない息子は半べそになってきた。
横で見ていた旦那は相手を初段認定し「ずるいよ」と口をとがらせた。

「ちょっとお父さんにまかせて！！」

もう見ていられなくなったとばかりに旦那が息子に代わり指し始めた。
すると必敗の局面が一瞬にして必勝に。

「ウソの棋力を申告するからこうやって痛い目に遭うんだ」

いやいや、そういう君の方がよっぽど詐欺だから。

このお母さん、他の記事もちょろっと読んだけど読み物としてブログ書くの上手ですね～。

自分も似た経験をどこかでしたような・・・と考えてたら、思い出しました。
都内の某社会人フットサル大会。

どう見ても経験者が何人もいるチームが「超初心者クラス」にエントリーとかしてるんですわ。
きっとみんな、折角の日曜に体力使ってフットサルやるもんだから、勝って気持ちよくなりたいんだろうけど、正直に超初心者チームで挑んだこっちの身にもなれー。
